I am a father of five and a marketing and service professional whose career has spanned continents and cultures. After earning my business degree from the University of Cincinnati, I spent six transformative years in Estonia during the 1990s as a business consultant and ESL educator, helping a newly independent nation transition to a market economy. There I met the love of my life and started my family. We traveled both Eastern and Western Europe and lived a year in The Netherlands as my international work expanded to include a leadership role with AIESEC International, coordinating alumni programs across 88 countries. Upon returning to the United States, I achieved award-winning sales success for the Schwan Food Company while I added four more children to up the adventure and enjoyment. We as a family have traveled the eastern shore of the US from Boston, Massachusetts to Homestead, Florida, west to Ohio and Tennessee with a side trip to the Grand Canyon before discovering Puerto Rico, Mexico and Costa Ri
I have endured and enjoyed watching my children grow and believe that travel expands their minds. This is multi-generational as my father told us of his travels to Asia and took us on camping excursions to eastern Canada. My kids have done solos to Wyoming (15 year old), Spain, France, Estonia, Italy and soon to Japan. So it must be contagious.
Travel is a passion and an education in my mind without age limits. I have enjoyed setting up excursions and trips for family and friends informally for Europe and the Caribbean. Seeing my adult friends expand their horizons helped me realize many "empty-nesters" (almost there) need help in finding their happy place. I love building bridges between people and helping others reach their potential. I am happy to be where I can now help others discover their own adventures and create the kind of meaningful travel experiences that have shaped my life.
