Club Level OverviewClub Level is an upgraded room category available at Universal’s Premiere Resorts (Hard Rock Hotel, Royal Pacific, and Portofino Bay). The primary benefit of being a Club Level guest is gaining access to the exclusive Club Level Lounge, which offers continental breakfast, snacks, hot hors d’oeuvres, and drinks throughout the day. Alcoholic beverages are also available in the evening. Since Universal hotels are individually operated, Club Level looks slightly different at each resort. This allows you to enjoy three different Club Level experiences based on where you stay. Universal Orlando Club Level BenefitsIn addition to food throughout the day, the Club Level Lounge offers a quiet and secluded place to rest. Each Club Level Resort at Universal Orlando has different offerings, but most include:
Other Club Level amenities include a dedicated concierge (so you never have to wait in the hotel’s main lobby to ask a question or book a service), private check-in and check-out, bathrobes, exclusive access to Club Level floors, and discounts for resort experiences, like pool cabana rentals. The resorts that offer Club Level at Universal Orlando are the top-tier resorts, so you also get the benefits of staying at Universal's Premiere Resorts, like free Universal Express Unlimited Passes for each night of your stay and early admission (up to one hour early) to the theme parks. Getting the Most Out of Club Level Upgrading to Club Level works best if you plan on spending a moderate or significant amount of time at your resort, so you can easily take advantage of all the free food offerings. Club Level also works well if you plan to take midday breaks at your hotel. If you’re heading to the parks for a full day, don't skip the continental breakfast in the lounge. It will save you a ton of time and money so you can get to the parks to enjoy your early admission privileges. You can also stock up on bottled water, prepackaged snacks, and drinks from the Club lounge and bring them to the parks. You’ll get the most out of your Club Level upgrade by taking advantage of the free food in the lounge as much as possible. If your family enjoys grazing on snacks, continental breakfast, and heavy appetizers for dinner, you’ll find there's more than enough food in the lounge to cover many of your meals. Evening menu rotations occasionally feature kid-friendly items like chicken tenders and mac and cheese. However, some days, the food offerings may be more upscale than what kids typically eat. Keep that in mind when deciding what meals you’ll want to eat at the club lounge. Is Club Level at Universal Worth It? A Club Level upgrade is usually worth it at a Universal Resort! Club Level works well if you plan to have at least one resort day or take daily breaks from the parks in the late morning or early afternoon. Even if you plan to spend every day at Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure, or Volcano Bay, it's super easy to walk, hop on a shuttle, or take a water taxi back to your resort for a break and enjoy the offerings at the Club Lounge. In many cases, the upgraded room pricing is marginal for the money you could save on meals. The lounge also offers a quiet spot to relax from the hustle and bustle of the parks and the hotel's main lobby. It’s a great place to take a breather before returning to the parks in the evening.
