Upgrading to a club level room is one of our favorite ways to instantly level up your Disney vacation and add extra magic to your stay. Club Level is available at all Disney Deluxe Resorts and at the Gran Destino Tower at Coronado Springs. Club level rooms include perks such as upgraded amenities, elevated theme park and resort views, and more. The largest perk, though, is access to an exclusive lounge at each resort. Each lounge offers complimentary refreshments throughout the day (typically 6:30 am to 10 pm) with 24-hour self-serve access. Every club level Disney Resort is unique, which can make choosing a resort challenging. While club level Disney resort is amazing, here are the best club level resorts we're loving right now: Gran Destino Tower at Coronado Springs ResortGran Destino Tower at Coronado Springs is the only moderate resort at Walt Disney World with club level, making it the most affordable club level experience. This resort offers the best value without the extras and frills of staying at a Deluxe Resort. Theming Coronado Springs caters to business professionals and hosts a wide range of corporate conferences and conventions throughout the year. As a result, the resort’s theming is more subtle than the other resorts on our list, offering a modern, upscale experience more in line with staying club level at a resort outside of Disney. However, magical touches aren’t lacking here. There are touches of Spanish surrealism in the architecture, paintings, and sculptures throughout the resort, which are inspired by the short film Destino, a collaboration between Walt Disney and Salvador Dalí. Lounge Experience: Chronos Club The club level lounge at Gran Destino Tower is located on the 15th floor, offering sweeping panoramic views of the EPCOT and Hollywood Studios resort areas. From the lounge's floor-to-ceiling windows, you can see the Hollywood Tower of Terror Hotel, the spires of Galaxy’s Edge, and the Disney Skyliner. The Chronos Club operates when complimentary refreshments are offered, without self-serve access. Breakfast can include heavy continental options and some hot breakfast items like scrambled eggs. At dinner, tapas infused with Spanish, Mexican, and Southwest flavors are served. Some options may include smaller versions of dishes served at the resort’s restaurants, such as the Bravas Croquettes from the Dahlia Lounge or the Pan Con Tomate from the Toledo menu. The lounge also offers several vegan-friendly and plant-based options. Accommodations There are three room categories with club level access at Gran Destino Tower: Tower Resort View, Tower Deluxe Suites, and One Bedroom Suites. Tower Resort View rooms are the only rooms with two queen beds, making them the best option if you’re traveling with kids. Tower Deluxe Suites feature a king bed and a queen sleeper sofa. One-bedroom suites feature a separate sleeping area and living area. Notable Features Club level guests can enjoy expedited check-in at the concierge service desk on the 15th floor. Since the main lobby can get pretty crowded, especially during popular convention times, this is a great perk that lets you start your vacation on a relaxing note. Disney’s Polynesian Village ResortWith a prime location on the monorail line and beach views around the Seven Seas Lagoon, club level at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort is a tropical paradise with an upscale feel. Theming Club level at the Polynesian is a true tropical getaway. Lush tropical landscaping follows you wherever you go, along with authentic Polynesian architecture and cultural flavors. If it wasn’t for the glimpses of Cinderella Castle throughout the resort, you’d forget you’re at Walt Disney World. This theming extends to every part of the club level experience, from the Polynesian-style lounge to tropical touches in the club level rooms. Lounge Experience: King Kamehameha Club The King Kamehameha Club is one of the best lounges at Disney. This two-story lounge features floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the Polynesian beach area and the Seven Seas Lagoon. It offers amazing views of the Magic Kingdom and Cinderella Castle, making it a perfect place to watch the Magic Kingdom fireworks (they play the fireworks music soundtrack into the lounge for the full experience). Dishes vary each night, but you may be surprised to find smaller portions of crowd-favorites like chicken wings, pot stickers, meat skewers, and sushi from the Polynesian's best restaurants like 'Ohana and Kona Cafe. Accommodations Club level rooms offer the best views at the resort, whether you book a Theme Park View, Water View, or Resort View room. Club-level suites accommodate up to eight adults, while the aptly named Honeymoon room is designed for two guests and features one king bed. While most club level rooms are located in the Hawai‘i Longhouse, the suites are located in the Tonga Longhouse. The Tonga Longhouse has its own small lounge with limited refreshments and is a short walk to the Hawai‘i Longhouse. Notable Features If you have sensitive family members, the Polynesian club-level lounge offers a perfect place to watch the Magic Kingdom fireworks without the crowds, loud noises, or the end-of-park-day rush. Enjoy a cordial and a small dessert platter while watching the fireworks from your comfy, padded chair. Plus, you’ll have access to all of the Polynesian’s Deluxe Resort features, like direct access to the monorail line, boat transfers to Magic Kingdom area resorts, and added perks like Extended Evening Hours at the theme parks. Disney’s BoardWalk InnClub level at Disney’s BoardWalk Inn is a personal favorite here at Just Add Magic Travel. We love taking nightly strolls around Crescent Lake, shopping for souvenirs at the boardwalk gift shops, grabbing a bite at one of the bakeries, and more. Theming The BoardWalk Inn transports you back to Victorian-era Atlantic City. Full of pastels, ornate designs, and Victorian-era art, the resort immerses you in beach vacations of the early 1900s, complete with a wooden boardwalk. Recent renovations have given this resort a more classic, refined vibe. Lounge Experience: Innkeeper’s Club The club level lounge at Disney’s BoardWalk Inn provides an intimate and elegant experience. The lounge features arched windows that overlook the resort’s landscaping. You may even see some partial EPCOT fireworks, but you'll get a better look out on the boardwalk. There is additional seating just outside the lounge for more private conversations. The lounge's central location in the resort makes it easy to grab a snack or a drink, head back to your room, and enjoy it on your private balcony overlooking the boardwalk. The more intimate setting allows Cast Members to get to know you personally; they may even greet you by name by the end of your trip! The food selections are also exquisite here, offering a wide range of breakfast, snacks, appetizers, and a famous dessert spread. Accommodations Club level rooms at the BoardWalk Inn are some of the best at any Disney resort. They are spacious and kid-friendly, and many of the options have private balconies overlooking the boardwalk. In addition to a standard layout guest room, BoardWalk Inn has some more unique options that can be great fits for guests looking for something other than a two-queen-and-a-daybed layout. Choose a Deluxe Room (exclusive to the BoardWalk) for extra space and a separate seating area. These rooms are great for larger families, as they sleep 6 guests. If you’re looking for the ultimate romantic getaway, select a Garden Room. These secluded, two-story cottage-style accommodations are designed for two guests and offer a home-like setting, including a white picket fence, outdoor gardens, and a traditional front door. You access these rooms outside of the main building, but the lounge is just a short walk away. Notable Features The BoardWalk Inn is one of our top picks for Deluxe Resorts at Disney. Start your resort day with a quiet walk or a cup of coffee on your balcony. Bask in the sun by the pool during the day, and stroll the boardwalk at night while taking in live performances from magicians, comedians, and carnival-style acts. The BoardWalk Inn is within walking distance of EPCOT, so you can enjoy a relaxing breakfast in the lounge before heading out to the parks for Early Park Entry. There are multiple ways to get around the resort, with some of the most versatile transportation options available. Walk to the International Gateway at EPCOT and hop on the Skyliner to Hollywood Studios. You can also take a friendship boat to both parks. The BoardWalk Inn offers the most transportation methods to get to the parks, making it great if you’re planning to solely use Disney transportation to get around. Disney’s Animal Kingdom LodgeArguably the most unique Disney Resort ever created, Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge is home to over 200 African and native animals. The animals can be found in natural savanna habitats, which can be viewed from many of the resort's rooms and from centralized viewing areas. The resort is also home to one of the nation’s largest collections of African art, giving you plenty to do as you roam around the resort. Theming There’s simply nothing like waking up in the morning, walking out on your balcony, and seeing a giraffe graze by you! It’s a resort you’ll remember forever. The resort’s African theming is found everywhere, with nods to the animals that call the resort home ingrained in its lighting, furniture, and overall architecture. Lounge Experience: Kilimanjaro Club The club level lounge at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge is known for having the most unique menu offerings of any other club level resort. Daily menus feature authentic African flavors, including breads, hummus, soups, nuts, fruits, and cheeses. The lounge is also known for its unique selection of South African wines. You may also enjoy Animal Kingdom Lodge’s exclusive dessert: Zebra Domes. The lounge is open-air and located on the sixth floor of the Jambo House, allowing you to take in sweeping views of the main lobby and the huge floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking one of the savannas. Accommodations All club level rooms are Savanna View and feature a private balcony. The rooms are also on the sixth floor, offering views of the entire savanna. Room options include two queen beds, one king bed, and one- and two-bedroom suite options.
