New Ships

Several new ships will have their inaugural sailing in 2027. Here’s what we know about them so far:

Disney Believe
The fourth ship in Disney’s Wish Class is set to debut in late 2027. While more updates will be shared over the next year, a few details have been released. We know that the ship will celebrate the stories of Disney characters who believed in their dreams and defied the odds to make them come true. Stories like Encanto, Frozen, Snow White, and The Little Mermaid will be featured on the ship, along with many more. The Grand Hall will feature a Moana statue and Polynesian theming. The stern will feature Buzz and Woody drawing the ship’s name in the iconic Toy Story font in crayon, while the stern’s filigree will feature Tinkerbell along with other characters from Peter Pan. Hero of the Seas 
The fourth ship of Royal Caribbean’s Icon Class will set sail in August 2027 out of Miami. Hero of the Seas integrates many of the elements cruisers love about the Icon Class, with expanded family spaces and pool areas. The ship will have more places for water fun, like nine pools,  the largest swim-up bar at sea, and new waterslides at Category 6 (the ship’s on-board full-scale waterpark). The ship will have a record-breaking 28 restaurants, including specialty venues like the Orleans Parish Supper Club and family-friendly cooking classes. New Disney Cruise Line Itineraries And Ports Of Call

Several Disney Cruise Line ships are repositioning and embarking on brand new itineraries beginning in the summer of 2027. The Disney Wish, which has been sailing 3- and 4-night Bahamian cruises out of Port Canaveral since its debut in 2022, will begin offering European sailings. The Disney Dream will take the Wish’s place in Port Canaveral, offering itineraries to the Bahamas, including stops at both of Disney’s private island destinations. The Disney Magic will again join the Disney Wonder for Alaska cruises from Vancouver. 

It was also just announced that Disney Cruise Line will set sail from New York City for limited-time sailings in fall 2027 and spring 2028. The Disney Wish will depart from New York City after its inaugural season in Europe for five special sailings to Bermuda. There will also be sailings up the New England coastline and Canada’s Atlantic coast, just in time to watch the leaves change colors. There are also opportunities to sail on repositioning cruises through the Panama Canal on the Disney Magic and Disney Wonder, as well as a transatlantic cruise on the Wish. Disney will double its itineraries on the West Coast, with the Disney Magic and Wonder sailing out of San Diego for three- to seven-night cruises through Mexico and Catalina Island.

Resorts At Sea

Today’s cruise ships are all-in-one destinations that offer an all-inclusive experience and a full range of resort-style amenities. These cruises make the ship the primary destination, with the ports of call being icing on the already beautifully appointed cake. From Broadway-caliber entertainment to immersive activities and even full-scale, theme park-worthy attractions, there’s never a dull moment.
