The annual EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival kicks off on July 27th and runs through November 18th! This festival has expanded in recent years, allowing guests who visit in the summer and fall to experience this fan-favorite celebration. If you’re going to EPCOT this summer or fall, you’ll be immersed in flavors and delights from around the world. Here’s what to expect from the Food and Wine Festival in 2023! Featured Global Marketplaces The festival highlight is—of course—the food and beverages. Innovative and stunning culinary dishes are scattered throughout EPCOT at event-specific kiosks throughout World Showcase, World Celebration, World Discovery, and World Nature. This year, there are 25 Global Marketplaces, each with a unique theme and menu. Each eatery highlights the culinary treasures of a featured location or food style, such as Ireland, Greece, Brazil, India, and Australia. Every kiosk offers small, tapas-style cuisine, so you can sample many choices while exploring the park, enjoying various attractions and entertainment. Here are some of the featured kiosks that will be available this year: Shimmering Sips This brunch-inspired kiosk features several different types of mimosas, such as the Blood Orange Mimosa, the Tropical Mimosa (with passion fruit, orange, and guava juices), and a Berry Mimosa that fizzes with berry sparkling wine. This kiosk also offers a plant-based Guava Cake with Coconut. Flavors of America Featuring dishes that highlight cuisine from New England to the southwest, this kiosk celebrates the culinary diversity of the US. Menu options include new offerings like the Italian Hot Beef Sandwich with Spicy Giardiniera and Au Jus, the Seafood Stew with Saffron-Infused Tomato-Fennel Broth and Sourdough Crostini, and Chilaquiles with Ranchero Chicken, Queso Fresco, Cilantro-Lime Crema and a Soft-Poached Egg. Beers from Oregon, Illinois, and Colorado are also featured here. The Noodle Exchange Available starting August 15th, the Noodle Exchange kiosk offers ramen and noodle specialties of the Far East, such as Ramen with Shaved Beef and Shiitake Mushrooms, Impossible Pork Udon, Thai Shrimp, and Ramen with Tofu, Shiitake Mushrooms, Daikon Radish, Shaved Peppers, and Baby Bok Choy in a Citrus-Sesame Broth. Hawaii Another kiosk that will open starting August 15th, this island-inspired eatery features Kālua Pork Sliders with Sweet-and-Sour Pineapple Chutney and Spicy Mayonnaise, Passion Fruit Cheesecake with Macadamia Nuts, and the Aulani Sunrise (vodka, pineapple juice, and grenadine). Brew-Wing Lab at the Odyssey Pavilion Located at an indoor pavilion between World Discovery and World Showcase, the Odyssey building will host spicy wing selections and local beer at this year’s festival. Check out the Scorching Hot Scotch Bonnet Pepper-Curry Wings with Creamy Cucumber Raita or the Impossible™ Buffalo Chicken Tenders with Plant-Based Blue Cheese, Ranch, and Celery. As a fun surprise, Disney just announced Muppet characters Dr. Bunsen Honeydew and Beaker will appear at this kiosk, showcasing their unique concoctions, like Pickle Milkshakes. Check out the announcement on Instagram. Several new kiosks were just announced for this year: Char & Chop, Wine & Wedge, Bubbles & Brine, and Swirled Showcase. Their menus haven’t been officially released yet, so follow us on Instagram and Facebook for more updates. This is only a small sampling of the available marketplaces.
