Exciting Experiences on the Disney Wish

The Disney Wish is the newest member of the Disney Cruise Line fleet, having its inaugural sailing in the summer of 2022. The Wish brings Disney cruising to the next level with many awe-inspiring, brand-new experiences onboard. As the largest DCL ship and the first of the Wish Class, the Disney Wish sets a new standard for Disney Cruise Line. Here are some of the can’t-miss experiences on the Disney Wish! 

Star Wars: Hyperspace Lounge 

Enjoy out-of-this-world drinks and cocktails inspired by the Star Wars universe as you sail through the galaxy. This lounge features a widescreen window into space behind the bar, so you can watch as familiar places like Batuu, Tatooine, and Coruscant fly by. You may even be thrust into hyperspace while enjoying your drink. 

 Rotational Dining

DCL’s signature rotational dining allows everyone to enjoy innovative and exciting dining aboard the ship, making each night you sail a brand-new experience. Aboard the Wish, you get to experience three main dining locations. For the first time on DCL, two restaurants offer an immersive dinner-theater environment. Here’s a glimpse into what each location offers:

Arendelle 
Visit the kingdom of Arendelle and have some frozen fun with friends like Anna, Kristoff, and Olaf. You’ve been cordially invited to Anna & Kristoff’s engagement party, and you get to join the celebration. Elsa, Olaf, and the other residents of Arendelle serenade you with musical numbers while you enjoy authentic Norwegian cuisine. 
   
Avengers: Quantum Encounter 
This interactive dining experience gives you a behind-the-scenes look at Ant-Man and The Wasp’s newest invention: the Quantum Core, which can grow and shrink objects (including food). Enjoy larger (and smaller)-than-life dishes while visiting with Ant-Man and The Wasp. 
  
1923
This restaurant has an elegant, toned-down feel compared to the other two dining locations. The restaurant beckons you back to the glory days of Hollywood and celebrates the year Walt Disney Studios was founded. You’ll find sketches of beloved Disney characters along the walls and enjoy a menu featuring Californian cuisine. 

The Oceaneer Club ​

The Oceaneer Club is the ultimate place for kids aboard the Wish! This drop-off childcare facility is for kids ages 3-12 and is included with your cruise fare. The fun begins right when you check in, as your kids slide down an Alice in Wonderland-themed slide into the club, where there are several areas kids can choose to play and explore.

At Fairytale Hall, princesses and princes can do arts and crafts in Rapunzel’s art studio, read a book in Belle’s library, or explore Elsa & Anna’s Sommerhus while playing interactive tablet games.  

The Imagineering Lab lets kids participate in hands-on activities allowing them to explore what it’s like to bring Disney magic to life as an Imagineer. They can develop their own Disney attraction, then take a virtual ride, too! 
   
Star Wars: Cargo Bay allows Jedi-in-training to get up close and personal with various animals featured in the Star Wars franchise. Kids use a tablet to feed and care for the creatures while helping Rey and Chewbacca. 
  
The Marvel Superhero Academy allows your young hero to train alongside their favorite Marvel superheroes like Spider-Man, Black Panther, Ant-Man, and The Wasp. 
For kids under three, there is a special “It’s a Small World” themed nursery (additional babysitting hourly rates apply). Tweens and teens also get many dedicated spaces around the ship.

The Hero Zone ​

This interactive family play area includes ping pong tables, shuffleboard, foosball, and more. The main attraction is the Incredi-Games, an Incredibles-themed inflatable obstacle course the whole family can enjoy. There are also spaces for basketball and soccer where you can play anytime. 

AquaMouse

The AquaMouse water coaster propels you around the entire top deck of the ship through 760 feet of water tubes. Step into your inner tube and be launched through a series of scenes styled after the newest Mickey cartoons. Then, you are propelled up, down, and around clear tubes that take you over the water and around the ship’s iconic funnels. It’s part dark ride, part roller coaster, part water ride—and all fun! 

Broadway Style Productions: The Little Mermaid

A new twist on Disney’s classic tale made exclusively for the Disney Wish. The show features reimagined renditions of songs from the film, such as “Under the Sea,” “Kiss the Girl,” and “Part of Your World.” The show is also filled with stunning visual effects that bring the story to life in a whole new way. Two other shows appear on the Disney Wish, Disney Seas the Adventure and Disney’s Aladdin - A Musical Spectacular.
