Sandals Montego Bay
Montego Bay, Jamaica
Sandals flagship resort is one of its best. It was recently renovated, so the resort hosts romantic getaways in an all-new way. This resort features an over-the-water bar, swim-up suites, and Sandals’ largest private beach. One of the reasons Montego Bay is consistently ranked as one of the best Sandals resorts is its proximity to Sandals Royal Caribbean. Through the Sandals Exchange Program, you can enjoy the amenities at both resorts, along with complimentary transportation between them. This gives you access to 21 restaurants, 14 pools, and 11 bars between the two resorts.
Sandals Royal Caribbean
Sandals Royal Caribbean offers you a royal, luxurious experience from beginning to end. The resort features Georgian-style architecture, exquisite tropical gardens, and even roaming peacocks. There is also daily afternoon tea. One of the resort’s distinct features is its Over-The-Water Bungalows—the first in the Caribbean. These Butler-Level rooms offer soaking tubs, hammocks, glass floors, and personalized Butler service throughout your stay. Sandals Royal Caribbean also has a private island, which includes a swim-up bar, pool, beach, and an authentic Thai restaurant. The island is a two-minute boat ride from the central part of the resort, with charter boat transportation to and from the island throughout the day. The island, which also houses an area for clothing-optional guests, is close enough for a quick kayak or paddleboard trip, too. As a bonus, you can explore the amenities at the nearby Sandals Montego Bay, which is a short drive away.
Santa Barbara, Curaçao
Sandals Curaçao opened in 2022, making it Sandals’ newest resort and the first one in Curaçao. The resort provides dazzling scenery, pristine beaches, and awe-inspiring amenities like a double infinity pool. The resort is nestled on 44 oceanfront acres of a 3,000-acre estate, which provides fantastic views of sloping desert hills and breathtaking sunsets. Love is in the air, from romantic scenery to a heart-shaped pool. Sandals Curaçao is also one of the best Sandals resorts for snorkeling and scuba diving, allowing you to explore the island’s famous reefs like Alice in Wonderland or Mushroom Forest. The best part? Scuba and snorkeling equipment is included (you must be a certified diver to scuba).
St. George’s, Grenada
Located on the beautiful Pink Gin Beach, Sandals Grenada has been aptly named the “Sandals of the future.” Design and innovation are taken to new heights here, with suspended infinity pools in select rooms and a comfy seating area carved out of one of the resort’s primary pools. There are also vast suite options with various amenities like private plunge pools. Another notable feature is the resort’s dining selections, including ten restaurants and six bars. From hibachi to over-the-water eateries, Sandals Grenada offers something for everyone.
Sandals Emerald Bay
Emerald Bay is Sandals’ largest resort, with 500 acres of lush tropical landscaping and a mile-long private beach. Space for relaxing and playing is one of the reasons Emerald Bay is appealing to many Sandals visitors. Whether you want to enjoy a dip in the beachfront zero-entry pool or play a round of golf on a Greg Norman-designed course (with green fees included), there’s never a dull moment. Fire pits around the pool encourage couples to get cozy throughout the night. Emerald Bay is rated as the best Sandals resort beach, with powdery white-sand beaches and pristine turquoise water. Emerald Bay is full of surprises, most notably its proximity to Big Major Cay—also known as Pig Island. Nearly 20 wild pigs and piglets call the uninhabited island home, where it’s common to see pigs basking in the sun or taking a dip in the ocean. You can even swim with them! The Swimming Pigs have been a top tourist attraction in the Bahamas since their mysterious arrival in the 90s. Sandals Emerald Bay offers excursions to Pig Island right from the resort.
